We are delighted that regular Dee angler, Will Shropshire, has created a special River Dee edition of his new fictional book Silver Ghosts for the Dee Trust.
Will’s lovely story centres around an Aberdeen teenager, Callum, and how an introduction to salmon fishing ignites his relationship with his Grandfather, opens his eyes to the beauty of Deeside and leads to numerous adventures with someone he meets on the river.
Will has written the book to try and bring more younger anglers into the sport whilst raising funds and further awareness of the plight faced by our iconic species.

Life is confusing for Aberdeen teenager Callum Anderson as he drifts through the lockdown summer of 2020. With exams cancelled and activities restricted, the aimless days and late, drunken nights all merge.
